KinoListe.info was founded in fall of 2011. This website was created to manage the television and film collection of Ryan Richards. A secondary function of this site is to also catalog my wife's movies. This site will be kept as up to date as possible. If you enjoy a unique strangely diverse movie collection look no further. Escape the mainstream, listen to the B side, enjoy the kitsch, yuck it up and watch the movie less traveled.

Upon viewing the collection you will notice some chick flicks or movies that really seem out of place. That is because the movies ARE out of place. This site keeps track of all the movies in the house. There are definately some mainstream blockbusters and some chickflicks. Some of the Chick flicks such as Glitter, Crossroads and the Twilight movies are mine. They are in the collection for the hilarious rifftrax commentary... NOT the movies themselves.

I grew up being a fan of mystery science theater 3000. When the show ended everyone was at a loss. Luckily there are rifftrax and cinematic titanic. Both of these shows are made by original cast members and in essence accomplish the same end goal. Provide a hilarious commentary for a movie thats either a B movie or a Blockbuster B movie.

Watching mystery science theater 3000 has fostered an apprecation, interest and criticism of film in general. Having watched the show has also skewed my idea of what a good movie is. I have come to appreciate the lesser movies, the B movies, old movies, silent movies, and non artsy fartsy foreign movies. You will not find ultra gorey shock slasher flicks in this collection. However you will find soviet science fiction from the late 1970's, a few obscure and out of print titles, a small collection related to Detroit Techno and a unique cartoon collection.
